Ernesto's Rainbands Move Over Florida

Not a Hurricane... Yet

The National Weather Service has issued updated watches and warnings with the anticiaption that Ernesto may strengthen on the way from Cuba to South Florida.

Biggest Concern? Rain, and lot's of it

Yes, even tropical storm force winds will cause damage (see our video primer on gale force winds here), the biggest concern of Ernesto appears to be the amount of expected rainfall. Predictions range from 5 to even 15 inches in some isolated areas as the storm tracks north.
